Sandy swirls and turquoise lentil focal bead

Pretty pastel frit in soft blues and just a hint of sparkle have been swirled through clear glass, before being contrasted with a gorgeous streaky turquoise. The dividing line has an organic sandy effect, and has been twisted to create a swirl. The design appears on both sides of the bead.

Bead measures 25mm in diameter approximately, and was wound on a 1.6mm mandrel.

All of my lampwork beads go straight to a digitally controlled kiln from the flame, for annealing, which ensures strength and durability.
